Elite Motorsport brings McLaren to GT4 Winter Series

Elite Motorsport made its debut in international GT4 racing in 2023. The British racing team competed in the GT4 European Series with two McLaren Artura GT4s and celebrated an overall victory at the season finale in Barcelona. Eddie Ives’ racing team is now expanding its programme and will enter up to two of the McLaren cars in the brand new GT4 Winter Series.

The two British youngsters Tom Lebbon – who won the high-calibre Ginetta Junior Championship in 2020 – and Zac Meakin will drive the first car. Both have already gained experience in Elite Motorsport’s Artura GT4 in 2023. The racing team is currently still looking for drivers for the second car.

Team owner Eddie Ives is looking forward to the programme in the GEDLICH Racing series: „As we embark on our first European GT4 Winter Series campaign, we’re excited to have a strong driver pairing concerning our first entry. Zac Meakin and Tom Lebbon have both previously proven their ability with us in the GT4 McLaren Artura. I’d love to field our second McLaren and so would be delighted to hear from interested parties. This series will act as a great ‘winter warm-up’ for drivers in preparation for the normal season. We brought down the curtain on our maiden GT4 European Series this year in style and so we compete in the Winter series with high hopes of success.”
