FK Performance also competes in GT4 Winter Series

After FK Performance Motorsport celebrated its debut in the GT Winter Series in Estoril and entered former DTM champion Bruno Spengler, among others, the racing team is expanding its programme in the GEDLICH Racing Winter Series. The team from Bremen will be competing in the new GT4 Winter Series for the first time in Portimão.

The FK Performance team will field a BMW M4 GT4 on the Algarve coast. Young Dutchman Gianni van de Craats, last year’s champion in the BMW M2 Cup Benelux, will drive the car. He will share the BMW M4 GT4 with the fast New Zealander Rianna O’Meara Hunt. In the Heart of Racing Shootout, O’Meara Hunt prevailed against over 100 other female racing drivers to win a starting place in the 2023 GT4 America racing series, meaning that FK Performance Motorsport is relying on an international driver duo in the GT4 Winter Series.

FK Performance has been one of the most successful GT4 teams in Germany in recent years. On the Nordschleife, the northern German team has celebrated many successes in the category of production-based GT cars in the Nürburgring Endurance Series and the 24-hour race. Ben Green also became champion in the 2021 DTM Trophy in one of the team’s cars, which was contested with GT4 cars as part of the DTM supporting programme.
