Speedy Motorsport to field BMW M4 GT4 in GT4 Winter Series

The starting lights for the new GT4 Winter Series will switch to green for the first time on the former Estoril Grand Prix circuit. GT4 cars from Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche will compete in the new racing series organised by GEDLICH Racing.

Speedy Motorsport from Maia, Portugal, will also be among the participants. The experienced racing team, which has already taken part in a number of championships in the Iberian region, will be represented in the field with a BMW M4 GT4 from the G82 series.

The car, whose colour scheme is based on the traditional BMW M design, will be driven by Luis Liberal at the season opener in Estoril. Liberal has so far made a name for himself primarily in historic motorsport, where he has raced BMW cars throughout Europe. Now he will get his first taste of GT4 racing in the GT4 Winter Series.
